- What is the difference between an "Add-On domain"
and a "Full Hosting" account?
Add-On domain accounts share a cPanel control panel, disk space and transfer capacity
with other domain names. Full Hosting accounts have their own control panel. In
general, if you own and manage a number of domains for yourself, Add-On domains will be fine.
If you develop web sites for others or want to limit who has access to passwords and user
accounts on a per domain basis, you need a separate control panel. This will allow you to
delegate tasks such as email user management.
An account with separate control panels is highly recommended for resellers.

- How much space can I use for hosting features
(such as MySQL databases, CGI-scripts, PHP etc.)?
Any space used by these features consumes part of the total disk
space you have purchased.
- How can I see
how much disk space and data transfer I have used and have remaining?
Once you purchase an account, you
may view site logs through your control panel. From there you will see how
much disk space and bandwidth you have used and have remaining.

- What is data transfer?
Data transfer is the total number of bytes which are
transferred across the Internet to or from your account. For example, when someone requests
a page that is 10 K (10 kilobyes or 10,000 characters), then about
10 K of data transfer occurs. You can monitor your data transfer in real time via your control
panel.
Reputable hosting companies impose
data transfer restrictions to control their bandwidth usage and ensure a
high standard of service. With some hosting companies you will only find this restriction
in the fine print of their terms of service. We believe you make your best decisions when
you have full knowledge: we don't hide information.

- What is the charge if I exceed the monthly
data transfer limit, or the diskspace limit?
You will be emailed and asked to upgrade your space / bandwidth.
Please see the additional feature page for current prices.

- Can I access my site with or without the 'www'?
Yes you can access your site both with or without the 'www'. For
example you can access your site at http://yourdomain.com or http://www.yourdomain.com.

- How
much does it cost to upgrade my plan if I decide to upgrade later?
You can upgrade at any time for the difference in cost of plans.
For example, if you purchase a Starter Plan for $60.00 / year and you have used our service
for 6 months, you have $30 in unused service, so you can upgrade to our Basic Plan at $90 /
year for $60. You would then have 12 months pre-paid in the Basic Plan.

- How many domains can I host under my account?
The limits are on the plan comparisons page. Non-reseller accounts may only host domains
which are actually owned and managed by the same person or company who signed up with us.
Resellers may host domains registered to others. In both cases, there must be one contact
who will handle support from us for all the domains.
- Can I host my friends if I buy your hosting?
Yes you can create hosting accounts for your friends by creating an email account for them. They will
have their own FTP and email login and can access their pages by going
to http://www.yourdomain.com/~username/. They will not have access to your main account, just to the
user account you create for them.

- What
is the difference between a shared IP address and a unique IP address?
A shared IP address is the IP address of the entire server. It is not unique to your web site.
A unique IP address allows you to access your site via a number.
For example, http://123.456.78.910 would point to the same place
as http://www.yourdomain.com. With a unique IP address you will be able to use SSL, that is,
you can access secure pages at https://www.yourdomain.com/. Everything in both directions will
be encrypted.

- I
am currently hosted by another company and already have a domain
name.
Can I have my site hosted by you instead? How do I change
my domain to point to your servers?
Yes! To point the domain
you already own to our servers all you need to do is change the "domain
name servers" listing where you registered your domain name.
You can either email the support staff where you registered or
the registrar may have a way for you to login and make
the change yourself. Simply send them the name servers that are listed in your setup
email from us. Your domain will be pointing to our servers
in 24-72 hours, which is the time it takes for name server
changes to become active.

- How does your 30 day money back guarantee work?
You say the word, we cancel your service and return your money. You are under no obligation
to explain what the problem was. However, if you feel you had a service problem, we
want to hear about it.
