We are sometimes asked where the company is located. It would be misleading to list the states in which we house servers or have employees. We all telecommute. Our mailing address is at the edge of the Adirondack Mountains:

Our client web pages reside on our own servers, which in turn reside in highly advanced and secure data centers. We use a combination of web interfaces and encrypted Internet connections (called "ssh") to work with the servers.

The data centers provide the physical space the servers take up, a secure environment and fast connections for data transfer. The data centers also monitor the physical health of the servers. In the rare event of hardware problems, they normally provide an immediate fix.

The company has attracted highly qualified people by offering the opportunity to work at home. Since this provides savings in time and expenses, total compensation is much less than any of us would otherwise demand.

Each of us can automatically check for any work that needs to be done (such as responding to a service issue or creating new accounts) many times an hour, while simultaneously working on other projects.
